Legal
Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your use of TenantVolt, an operations platform provided by ROMM Technology.
Last updated: August 2026
1. Who you are contracting with
TenantVolt is operated by ROMM Technology ("we", "us", "TenantVolt"). By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, or continuing to use the service, you enter into an agreement with ROMM Technology on these terms. If you use TenantVolt on behalf of a business, you confirm you have authority to bind that business; if you use it as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age to enter a contract.
2. The service
TenantVolt is a multi-tenant, cloud-hosted platform for retail, hospitality, healthcare and service businesses. It provides catalog, orders, customers, team access control, and industry engines such as hotel reservations, restaurant service, clinical records and pharmacy dispensing. Features available to you depend on the plan you subscribe to.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use TenantVolt within the limits of your selected plan for the duration of your subscription.
3. Accounts and credentials
You must provide accurate account and business information and keep it current. You are responsible for keeping your credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account and under the accounts of team members you invite. Notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorised access.
4. Acceptable use
You must not, and must not permit anyone else to:
- use TenantVolt for any unlawful purpose or in breach of any applicable regulation;
- commit fraud, send spam, or misrepresent your identity or business;
- infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of any person;
- interfere with the security or integrity of the service — including malware, probing, penetration attempts, unauthorised scraping or circumvention of technical limits;
- reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the service or any part of it;
- upload patient, prescription or other sensitive records you are not lawfully entitled to process.
5. Your content and data
You retain ownership of the business data you put into TenantVolt. You grant us a limited licence to host, process and transmit that data solely to operate and support the service for you. You are responsible for the lawfulness of the data you upload and for obtaining any consents your customers or patients require.
6. Intellectual property
ROMM Technology retains all right, title and interest in TenantVolt, including the software, interfaces, documentation, branding and any improvements. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of our intellectual property to you.
7. Payment, subscriptions and taxes
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
Payment, billing frequency, renewal, currency, tax and cancellation mechanics are governed by the Paddle Buyer Terms. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. Upgrades take effect immediately and are prorated; downgrades take effect at your next renewal date. Refunds are described in our Refund Policy (14-day window).
8. Free trial
New businesses receive a 15-day free trial with limited seats and one location. When the trial ends without an active subscription, your workspace becomes read-only: your data stays intact and remains exportable, but new records cannot be created until you subscribe.
9. Service levels
We work to keep TenantVolt available and performant, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Maintenance, third-party outages and factors outside our control may affect availability.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access where there is material breach of these terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may cancel at any time through the billing portal. On termination you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for, after which your workspace becomes read-only and, if you request closure, is deleted after the stated grace period.
11. Warranties and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the service is capped at the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where such exclusion is not permitted by law.
12. Indemnity
You will indemnify ROMM Technology against claims arising from your content, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these terms.
13. Changes, assignment and general
We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the product. You may not assign this agreement without our consent; we may assign it in connection with a merger or acquisition. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control. These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which ROMM Technology is established, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes.
14. Contact
Questions about these terms can be sent through our support page. Billing and refund enquiries are handled by Paddle at paddle.net.
